抄録: Last year, the first-year students in the Department of Intelligent Mechanical Systems in Tamagawa University have been forced to attend the physics supplementary lessons by means of making the attendance a part of the grade point of the regular lessons in order to improve the attendance at the supplementary lessons. This year, this modification of the valuation method has been kept on, and again the high rate of attendance at the lessons has been maintained in the semester. As a result, nearly half of the students have improved the academic performance of the fundamental physics.
